Your Touch
Your touch surrounds me with shadow
My being extending toward skies
Aware suddenly of its most distant life
Blooming and dying at each moment:
Of love struggling toward sun in every cell
Each its own galaxy striving toward light
To breathe stars once again
To wear weightlessly its skin
Unburdened by delusions of distance
Of spaces where love never dwells
For through your touch are overturned like ancient rocks
The places within me that have never known sun
But have lived in darkness like roots
Unaware they exist as fragrant petals above the earth.
Your touch is the sun which ripens the fruit
That brings sweetness and light to my roots.
The petals of my being forever open before your touch.
